En pasado octubre, el gobernador JB Priztker anunció por primera vez la creación de una nueva agencia estatal que regula la primera infancia. Ahora que la SB1 fue aprobada en la Cámara y el Senado, y el Gobernador la promulgará como ley este verano, reuniremos a la coalición
para discutir que significa estos cambios. En este evento discutiremos la nueva agencia, y el impacto que tendrá estos cambios para los bebés, niños pequeños y familias en la dulce espera en Illinois. También discutiremos que pueden hacer los defensores para impulsar aún más a Illinois a ser el mejor estado del país para criar a un niño.

Durante este evento usted podrá:

Escuchar a expertos en políticas, proveedores y familias para tener una idea holística de lo que significará el Departamento de Primera Infancia para nuestros sistemas de aprendizaje y atención temprana.
Escuchar acerca de los logros políticos recientes y cómo nuestros líderes y campeones familiares tuvieron un impacto
Aprender lo que puede hacer para defender a los bebés, niños pequeños y familias embarazadas de nuestro estado.

My hope for children in Illinois is that they have accessible, affordable, equitable, quality, culturally and linguistically attuned, child- & family-centered systems of care & support that ensure all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential and thrive.
